Dr. Byron Hardy is passionate about the church community. Having been a Christian since the age of 4, he knows full well the challenges of church leadership. His book, Democracy: Biblical Principle or Man-made Institution, is a panorama of church governance and leadership models. Although Byron leans towards a Pastor led form of church governance, he would say that, in reality, the healthy application of any church governance model, is the most important path to follow.
Byron is a retired law enforcement officer. He holds a Doctor of Ministry Degree in Pastoral leadership as well as various Degrees and certificates in Organizational Leadership.
Byron lives in Calgary, Alberta, Canada with his wife Darlene. They have two married, adult children and one grandson. While still working full time in the field of security, Byron pastors Living Springs Church in Calgary.
